An emaciated shepherd was found tied to a fence near an industrial area in Athens, Greece. A note from the former owner was stuck in the fence, the note said: "I can't take care of her. She is very nice. I'm sorry." Rescue workers took the dog and named her Brandy, she was indeed very sweet. After being vaccinated and neutered she started gaining some weight and grew stronger every day. Soon she started looking for a new home while still living in a foster family. This is only one of very few successful rescues as Greece has way too many stray dogs.
