Hope For Paws was called to rescue a Shar-Pei that lives on railroad tracks, the dog was clearly interested in the food they were offering her but she was too afraid to be approached. They did manage to catch the anxious dog although the rescuers didn't seem to be very experienced as they made the dog more nervous than it should have been by trying to pat her on the head to calm her down. While trying to get her into a cage, the dog bit through the snare pole, causing a wound on her mouth. When she was in the cage she eventually calmed down and she was put in the car. She was named Tweedy and after getting the much needed medical care she started to trust her rescuers.
