Rescue

When a kid found an injured duck near a pond, he called Hope For Paws to the rescue! The duck had a broken leg and it seemed like someone tried to create a splint for the bird, but to no avail as the duck clearly couldn't fend for herself anymore. The rescued bird was brought to Ventura Hummingbird Rescue who specialize in rescuing and rehabilitating wild birds. She was called Daphne and after a vet looked at her and gave her time to heal, after a couple of weeks she started to do better and was ready to be released again!
