Injured Indian Street Dog Rescued

March 27, 2017
Rescue
Another heartbreaking video by Animal Aid Unlimited as we see a dog in a ditch with a large wound on it's neck that's infested by maggots. The dog was taken by Animal Aid's heroes and her wound was cleaned with a disinfecting powder that would kill all maggots. The dog was also severely dehydrated so she was given IV fluids. The next day, after the powder had done it's work, the dog was sedated and the massive wound was cleaned up. The treatment took place during 6 intensive weeks, after which we saw Shanti recover completely and turn into a happy and healthy dog again.
