The tarantula is one of the largest spiders on the planet, like with most spiders, the mating ritual is quite dangerous for the male. The female spider dresses her nest up to attract males. If the male isn't her type, he will be eaten. When the deed is done, the male has to get out as quick as possible or he may not survive.Animals: spider
