In a rural area of Athens in Greece, a sick dog was rescued by a local animal care organization called SPAZ. The dog wouldn't let the rescuers come close to him, so they had to add sedative to some food. After he had eaten some of it, he was caught and walked with them to the car. At the vet, he was diagnosed with ehrlichia, a disease caused by ticks. He also had wounds all over his body and an ear that was cut half off. After receiving treatment, the dog quickly got better and started growing his fur back. He's now up for adoption.Animals: dog
