Rescue
A vet clinic couldn't take in an injured red kite because they were afraid of avian flu. It was found on the ground covered in ice, the bird was taken in by Wildlife Aid. As it was the middle of the night, the bird was put in a warm cage to acclimate and the next morning a vet looked him over, there wasn't a lot wrong with him and after getting some rest he was released again. Stressed by all this human contact, he immediately flew away.
