Rescue

A two month old black kitten with a bad wound on the front of her jaw was brought to Vet Ranch after she was found next to a road. She was likely hit by a car, the skin on her chin was hanging off so she needed help. The skin had to be pulled up again or the wound could become infected. It was quite a strange injury, so some stitches were put in and the kitten was given some time to heal. After nearly three weeks the injury was looking a lot better but another surgery was needed to pull her skin up all the way so she had a normal mouth again. After healing up she's now awaiting a new owner while playing with some other homeless kittens in her temporary home.
