Fox With Fractured Leg

February 12, 2017
Rescue
A limping fox was picked up by the animal rescuers from Wildlife Aid, after a photo was taken it appeared she had a broken foreleg which meant an operation was needed. A specialist operation was done by a great veterinarian named Michael Hamilton from Cherry Tree veterinary practice. The operation was a success and after a couple of weeks of recovering with daily vet check-ups, the bandages were removed and the foxed was given a larger area to give her room to exercise. After some more x-rays and a check-up by the vet who operated on her, she was deemed fit enough to be released back into the wild.
