Badger Trapped After Dog Chase

September 19, 2018
A badger was a regular visitor in someone's garden, this time he was chased between a shed and a fence by the family dog and didn't want to come out anymore. When Wildlife Aid arrived, they noticed he had a large wound on his back as well. After quite a struggle he was captured and brought back to the veterinarian. The wound on his back was investigated and cleaned up so it would heal better and wouldn't become infected. After two and a half weeks of revalidation, the badger was ready to be released in the vicinity it was found, another successful rescue and release by Wildlife Aid!
