Shadow is a thin stray dog that was diagnosed with heart worm and had an enormous tumor hanging from his leg. Animal control brought him to Vet Ranchwhere he was under the care of Dr. Karri, at first it looked like the only option was to amputate his leg since the tumor was really all over. Upon closer inspection it looked it would be possible to remove the entire tumor and keep his leg. After surgery, there was a huge wound on his leg that took a while to heal.Four weeks after the operation, he was using his leg although it was still swollen. During the nect couple of weeks, the swelling slowly started to get smaller and this old guy was ready to be adopted!
