Senior Cat Rescued From Pound

October 21, 2016
Rescue
Vet Ranch rescued a cat from an animal shelter that was in bad shape. She could barely walk, had a bad skin, was dehydrated and having a hard time breeding. After photo's were taken, the doctor noticed the cat had a hole in her diaphragm, which let her organs move to the place her right lung was supposed to be. She needed an operation to rescue her. After letting her get a bit stronger for a few weeks, it was still going to be a dangerous operation. There was no time to film during the surgery but after the job was done, she slowly started to wake up. She immediately started to breath a lot better, hopefully she can enjoy some more happy years in here life. We think it's absolutely amazing the length these vets go to give an almost lost cause another chance.
