Owl With Two Broken Wings Rescued

December 26, 2016
On Christmas eve 2015, a tawny owl was brought to Wildlife Aid having broken both his wings. The owl was taken to Angus Anderson, a specialist orthopedic veterinarian who immediately operated on the bird. The operation was very difficult, the bones were aligned with pins. Against all odds and after a long road to recovery, the owl was released later during the year.
