Some of the most severe cases of neglected dogs come from the YouTube channel of Indian animal rescue organization Animal Aid. The young dog in this video is wounded and suffering from mange, a skin diseases that causes severe itching and a very painful skin. The wound on her neck needed treatment as well as it was infested with maggots. When she was caught, the wound was disinfected so the maggots would die. A lotion was put on her skin to help the healing. After a while of getting daily treatment, we get to see Mikki again who is feeling a lot better and enjoying all attention of the people around her.
