After being kept on a chain for 20 years this mountain lion was finally freed. Wild animals are forbidden to be kept in Peruvian circuses since 2011 but Mufasa was still kept in the illegal circus, but not anymore! Mufasa gets to spend his last years in a natural habitat where caretakers can continue to provide him with the specialist care he needs.
