Rescue
Big Bear is a big, friendly dog that was brought to Vet Ranch after he was surrendered at an animal shelter where he would have been put down. The tumor looks very dirty and had to be removed during surgery, the surgery was successful and due to the dog having a lot of excessive skin, the big hole that was left was easy to close. After two weeks, he did manage to open the wound by scratching, the wound was closed in a better way and he was given two cones so he couldn't reach the wound anymore. He still had to be treated for heartworm but that were just a couple of injections, causing no further problems for the big guy. When he was treated, he was sent to a rescue organization near Dallas that were starting to look for a new owner.
