Hero is a Cane Corso with some medical issues who was left at a shelter. Vet Ranch picked him up, he was diagnosed with several skin conditions, heart worm and a strange growth on his foot which had to be investigated because it could be cancerous. During a surgery, two of his toes together with the growth were amputated, the operation was successful and 24 hours later he was already using the foot to walk again. The tumor was not malignant, which is good news, Hero is going to live! After 30 days with a foster family, this friendly guy is now looking for a forever home.
