Brunhilda Gets A Prostetic Leg

Rescue
Brunhilda is a two year old calico shorthair cat. When she was rescued, her right hindleg had an open compound fracture and her left hindleg had a fracture that made her toes curl badly, forcing her to walk on her skin, which resulted in an open wound. Those injuries caused her to drag herself forward with her front legs only, something had to happen. One of her legs couldn't be saved and had to be amputated, leaving her with only half a hindleg. The doctors made a prostetic leg for her so she is able to move around a lot better. After a rehabilitation period of six months in total, she was adopted by a new family.
