Rescue
A badger with a broken humerus (leg) was brought into Wildlife Aid, the poor animal had to be brought to a specialist to be operated on since the break was quite bad. During a complicated operation, a metal plate was put in it's leg to give the badger stability so the bone could heal. Now the badger was ready for a long road of rehabilitation, he had to start eating to heal up but the animal was in quite a shock, during the night he was force-fed and finally started eating a bit. after a couple of days, some minor adjustments had to be made to the plate to ensure its stability. Some check-ups and a lot of time in the rehabilitation center and the badger was ready to be released in the wild again.
