A baby donkey in India had been attacked by a wild animal and had more than a dozen bite wounds over her body with some bad ones on her head. Locals had put turmeric powder on the wounds which they thought would stop the bleeding. The donkeys mother was desperate to help, but couldn't do a lot for her, Animal Aid Unlimited took both the baby and her mother to their rehabilitation facility so the baby could heal and the family could stay together. The baby's hair was cut in places and the wounds were disinfected, while her mother kept guard. After days of daily cleaning, Genevieve started to look a lot healthier and gained some weight as well!
