Planet Earth is a 2006 television documentary produced by the BBC. The five years it took to create delivered a series of eleven 60 minute episodes with unbelievable footage, narrated by David Attenborough. Ten years later a six-part sequel had been commissioned, the first BBC series in ultra-high definition (4K).
